Damon Finecy
Chief Audit Executive
Damon Finecy has served as the Chief Audit Executive of the Office of Finance since January 2025. Prior to assuming that position, Mr. Finecy held the role of Vice President of Internal Audit for Single-Family, Capital Markets, and Credit Risk at Fannie Mae, starting in November 2018. From August 2011 to May 2018, Mr. Finecy was at Capital One where he last held the role of Chief Auditor – Retail and Commercial Bank, and Senior Vice President, Corporate Audit Services. Mr. Finecy also held the roles of Vice President & Senior Director, Commercial Bank Operations and Corporate Staff Functions, Corporate Audit Services. Prior to Capital One, Mr. Finecy held Risk, Governance, Compliance, and Audit roles at Fifth Third Bank from 1999 to 2011 and client-facing roles at Arthur Andersen from 1995 to 1999. Mr. Finecy is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Information Systems Auditor. He earned a BS in Business Administration from Xavier University in Cincinnati.
