Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines Announces Retirement of President and Chief Executive Officer

The Federal Home Loan Bank (FHLBank) of Des Moines announced today that Kristina K. Williams, President and Chief Executive Officer, has informed the FHLBank’s board of directors of her intention to retire in 2026. Ms. Williams has served as the FHLBank’s President and Chief Executive Officer since January 2020.

The FHLBank of Des Moines’ board of directors has formed a succession committee and retained an executive search firm to identify Ms. Williams’ successor. Ms. Williams will continue to lead the FHLBank until her successor is in place.
